My thoughts and prayers will be with the family. I will miss Josh coming into the office to pick up his lunch. May God give you all peace in this time of sorrow.
Please know that your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you comfort and peace in the great time of need.
I am so sorry to hear of your tremendous loss. I did not know your sons but there is nothing more precious to us than our children. I will pray that in time your hearts heal.
Please keep Matthew’s father, James, in your prayers as well.
Mattthew was a sweet third grader in my class many years ago. I recently saw him at the East Forsyth vs. Northwest Guilford girls softball game. He gave me a hug and reminded me of why I teach. Your family is part of the Piney Grove Family and are in our prayers.
im so glad you were at that game, and matt was able to come to that game so yall were able to see each other.
I taught Jordan in 4th grade and got to know the wonderful close knit family. Jordan, I remember how much you loved Matt. You and all of your family are in my prayers
Love,
Mrs. Davis
Our prayers are with you guys. God loves you.
, Matthew was one of the finest young men I have ever met, it was a pleasure to get him in our Rotary Youth Leadership Program a few years ago and he excelled as usual. His smile was ever present and all he talked about was the fire department, what a shame he was called to heaven at such a young age. I will personally miss him and pray for all of the family during this tragic loss. God Bless all of you.
There is nothing more precious to us then our children. I know that your faith will help you and your family through this terrible loss. You’re in my thoughts and prayers
Prayers are with you all, it has really touched us close to Matt and his little brother, as well as Nationally. We haven’t seen him as much since graduation, but just knowing yaul were just down the road….Just remember in each beautiuful sunset or each amazing rainbow- it is your boys’ smiling down.

Lori and Jeremy, my heart goes out to you and I have been praying for God’s grace and strength ever since I heard the news. How can anyone survive something like this? Only in Him. I love you both. Katy
We have been praying for your family ever since we heard the news. We are so deeply saddened by you loss. Please know that we will continue to pray for strength for your family.
We have no words, except that we are praying that time and the holy spirit will take away the sting of the intense, deep loss and hurt that you are feeling. If you need anything, anytime please just call.
Romans 8:18 -18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 1 Corinthians 15:55
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
We love you all! We will be back in the Carolinas in September and we’ll see you then. In the meantime, you are so loved in your community. What a force you have behind you to help you pick up the pieces! I wish you peace in the coming days and weeks. My heart is broken for you but God is in this whole thing and only He can see you through this. Love you guys!
I don’t personally know you or your family, but looking through your photos i can see you all have great love for one another. I would like to give you all my condolences. I pray that God will help you all through these times of sorrow.
On October 25, 2002 I lost my precious daughter in a auto accident… She was 3 weeks from being 15 years old… I know that some days you won’t be able to breath and some days you will… Only in time and the Lords help can you survive something like this horrible accident.. My goal is to be the mother that Lindsey would want and the mother that my son needs.. And the wife my husband needs.. And the person that the Lord is proud of.. So someday I will be with her when its my time… So cry when you need to.. Scream when you need to… And just know that the Lord is with you and prayers are with you and your family… God Bless you all!
I went to middle school and first year of high school i remember him being in my class. Yeah i might know him well enough personally buit i know him. Far as i know he was a really great friend to everyone. He seems like the person who will help anybody so i believe its our chance to do what he wuld do in this situation and help him and his family. I pray for ur family and will miss u always MAtt
I am so very sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your precious children. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this very difficult time.
Jeremy and Lori, My family and I are praying for your family. May God be with you in this time of need. Grieve as you need. Cry, yell, but above all talk about it. My hope for you is that one day you will be able to remember all the good times that your family had together and not dwell on what could have been, and know that one day you will be with them again. God bless you.
To all the family, my prayer is that GOD gives you whatever you need to endure this heartbreaking moment in your lives. I know and I trust that HE WILL!
GOD Bless You
Please pray for Matt’s dad James Alexander also. Matt loved his dad and his dad loved him. Pray for the whole family please.
Agreed. Pray for his father also.
Everyone please keep Matts dad James(Froggy) and his brother Jordan in your prayers as well. They are also hurting just as much….
I’m still continuing to pray for all three families, as they mourn over the boys. Matt was one of the most wonderful, influential people that ever came into my life, and i’m honored I knew him for the very few years I did. He’s watching over everyone, and always will.
